Of nasi lemak, luncheon meat and kopi-o

Yesterday was quite happening eh? I mean, one of our greatest fears is finally suppressed. Yes! Medias have confirmed the news that "Nasi Lemak" is now captured and will be ensured that there is no more escaping.

Furthermore, the local alertness for the swine flu has just been downgraded to Condition Yellow. That is really a great news for the masses. However, everyone still have to take great care of themselves and do not go to work/study/play when they do not feel well. Try to be considerate and do not spit in public places; sneeze and cough without covering your nose/mouth.

Meanwhile, I have to brew more coffee to calm down a little. The monthly rental for a roof over my head will be 2 times higher by the next renewal if approved. I mean the good people high up there thinks gross income of $1500+ could afford to hire-purchase a flat. I probably agrees with them if I change my mindset on spending lesser than now. Which is
  1. Spending on newspapers/magazines [10 bucks a week]
  2. Self-motivation drinks [10 bucks a week]
  3. Additional Transports [4 bucks a week]
  4. Necessary Transports [16 bucks a week]
  5. Thats about 160 bucks a month! Amazing.
Anyway, I just received the bills for the mobile broadband subscribed. The billing calculation is confirmed. I was a bit worried on how Mobile WAP and Mobile Internet work on my mobile phone. Initially I thought that both were different. Also, there is this "PS and CS preferred network" selection in my Sony Ericsson phone. PS stands for Packet switched (I assume its 3G+ network) and CS: Circuit switched (Assumably GSM network). You see, I have experiences in phones I previously owned which dials to the WAP network before I was connected to the Internet. When the phone dials to access the internet, wouldn't that incur outgoing calls costs? But I do believe the billing format is quite scary indeed. For the mobile broadband alone, I was billed 3000+ bucks for the data usage (600+ MB). The plan (30GB data usage) I subscribed rebated the whole cost of data usage of course. I wonder if I can sustain the cost of Internet in future?

I guess I just have to Wait and See.
